The XIT Museum in Dalhart, Texas focuses on the history and culture of one of the best-known ranches of the American West. XIT Museum explains about the history of Dallam and Hartley counties in the Texas Panhandle. The XIT Museum is sponsored by the Dallam-Hartley County Historical Association.
Museum Exhibits: The railroad exhibit stems from a major event of 31st May 1901, near a stop called “Twist Junction”, which became the future Dalhart. Some of the other popular exhibits of the museum includes the life of the county sheriff, wildlife exhibit of mostly birds.
